How You Can Help
Sponsor a Child
PCM is dedicated to improving the lives of children affected by parental incarceration, ending their nightmares and trauma. When mothers go to prison, their children often face neglect and rejection, and many end up on the streets. PCM focuses on these children, providing love, basic needs, shelter, food, clothing, and education. The Tabitha Christian Home serves as both a refuge for children and an empowerment center for them and their parents after release.
Prison Bibles
At Prison Christian Ministries, we distribute Bibles to prisoners who can’t afford their own and we provide bible study to help the prisoners understand the gospel – leading to their redemption and making Kenya a safer and better place.
These Bibles only cost approximately $6 CDN, but we are currently able to reach just 3% of the prisons in Kenya. With your help, we can spread the Word.
Street Children
When the parent of a child over 4 years old is incarcerated, their children have no social services to rely on, and are left to fend for themselves on the streets, where they are in constant danger. Treated no better than rats and living in constant fear. PCM offers relief to these children, serving 125 meals a week to those in need. But with thousands on the streets, the need is great.
Milk for Babies
In Kenya, when a mother goes to prison, her young children go with her. However, there are limited funds to feed the baby even there. PCM is currently delivering 360 cases of milk to 38 prisons at a cost of $2,000 CDN per month.
